BSP Legal Camber, let's talk
Correct, trying to extract the stock BUSHING to replace it with a nylon 6/6 one from BetaMotorsports.
The heim joints is another discussion, the SPL arms I have, they have heim joints, but aren't BSP legal so I can't use them until I get something else fab'd up

Here are the remnants of the bushings

and one of the arms.

I may have cut too deep on that one
I'll likely try to order another control arm and get it cleaned up here this weekend. I'd rather not risk breaking an arm

AM Performance is building front control arms for the 350/370 , they are a full race shop, they may be able to built an SCCA compliant bushing like i mentioned.
If i contacted them, screw the Whiteline bushing idea, i would ask them to machine some nylon bushings out.

And not only are they a full race shop but they have a machine shop with 9 CNC machines in the same building with them, they have a composite guy that rocks and have engineering expertise that big time racing teams bring to the game. I told them to just take over development of my car. They just finished JRZ coilover install today and they did incredible job!
You should see their race cars. I just walk under the lift look up and drool at the engineering that has gone into their 370Z based race cars. They know their stuff. I have seen a lot of race teams over the years and they understand what needs to be done to win.

I saw the AMPR protoype a couple weeks ago and this morning saw the bushing material. I let them know there is a market for the non steel bearings for us street prepared guys a couple days ago. I should have one on the car for testing soon! The parts they are fabbing are awesome! I felt the bushing material and its going to be perfect for us. The control arm itself is a work of art.
I think people are going to be very impressed with their quality. This isnt cheap tuner stuff. Its real race car engineering built to be strong and lightweight. I'm like a kid in a candy store there. You should see some of the other stuff they are developing. Nice thing is they have a 350Z track car as well so I think 350 Z crowd will be seeing some nice things. You should see the headers they fabbed!

Worked a bit on the control arms tonight, at least until the baby went to sleep.
Should have everything ready and installed in the morning. Then I'll be learning alignments

Just to prove how off the wall he is?! (anyone else slightly [or more so] annoyed?)
And good to hear Chris! Sadly I won't be making the Cali events, GM can't figure out why the engine is misfiring, even after rebuilding the motor.
Maybe I should just co-drive with you...

I'm hoping these 710s last me through ET. I'm also hoping that the special el toro kumho contingency works out for me
