I contacted Paul St. Clair with Nissan USA to see if they had a new support program for 2011. He emailed me back with an updated 2011 pdf file he said they had just finished. I am pleased to find out that they are offering $1000 for a NASA championship. They did not have NASA on there last year for a any payouts. I searched online to try the pdf so I could post the URL on here, but I could not find it. If anyone is interested email Paul or PM me your email address and I'll send it to you.

There are some Nissan and Nismo stickers you have to run, much like other contingencies along with some paperwork. I believe you also get discouts on Nismo and OEM parts from them.

Hopefully this is good news for some of you other NASA drivers.

That is true, but anything can help. I am not sure if it is national championship or just regional. You're probably right though. Have you ever gotten any parts discounted from them because you run their contingency program? I order random OEM parts from time to time and that might come in handy.

I talked with Paul as well, OP thanks for reminding me to reach out to him. Looks like they don't have any Solo/ProSolo contingencies this year

 

How extensive are the other manufactures' programs?

 

Some are quite nice, Mazda usually has a great program

 

Honda Racing just introduced a racer program to NASA for 2011...

 

I'm all signed up for NASA TT this April. I can't wait to get my car on track!
