Default Frontier Playing With Z's on Road Course

Hey guys, thought I would post up a couple clips here. Uprev just had a tuner event this past weekend and they rented a track--Harris Hill Road in San Marcos, Texas to allow the tuners and a few Uprev tuned vehicles to play on the track. I was one of the lucky few to be invited to the road course. In my 08 Frontier at that .
We had a GTR, 370z's, 350Z's, a Datsun 260Z, my Frontier, and even Uprev's Titan. Anyway, I had a blast on the road course. Loved every minute of it. I did better that I thought I would for a 4100lb truck.
But remember guys I have a truck and this is my first track experience so don't blast me too bad.
Here are a couple clips---

This first clip we were taking it a little easy still trying to learn the track better. By the end we were going at pretty hard at it. I had a blast keeping up with the Z in front of me. It helped following him to know when to brake and which line to take.

On this clip they spaced us out some more, so these were legit hot laps. And yes I was stupid and mis-judged my speed(about 95mph) at one point coming into a corner and took a little off-road excursion. I cleaned my act up some after that and finished the last couple laps fine. I think my best lap here was about a 1:51.

Was an awesome day out! Thanks to UpRev for inviting me to come take pictures and video, and thanks to Harris Hill Road for being awesome hosts. Your Frontier was SICK!! Was awesome seeing it out there romping it out on the track. For any who are interested, here are some pics I took at the event, I haven't finished all of them yet though, still got some sitting on the card... Got some pics of your frontier though man, just gotta get em up, and I will soon!

Speed thru corners man.. adjsut that wing up and get some downforce, press gas pedal heh heh.

I only noticed as the other cars are nowhere to be seen.. appears the Z was being cautious. pretty cool to have taken a ruck out there tho haha.. thumbs up.

The first clip looks like you guys are in the beginners group. You should clean up your lines a bit. I'm surprised that you're racing a frontier!

The second link doesn't work.

Here is a photo at the track. Also a photo under the hood. I actually have a modified 350Z upper & lower plenum on my vg40.

Yeah the Z in front of me was taking it extra cautious I think. I ran much better times on my second clip when I didn't have him in front of me. But I was still learning the track at first so I was cool with him up front.
As for my have my truck on the track, well when Uprev offered me a free chance on a road course, no way I was turning it down, truck or no truck. Besides I was very curious how I would do. I know my engine would handle it fine, but my extra 800lbs and much higher center of gravity was the big question. Irregardless, I wasn't out to beat anybody, just out there to have some fun. And I did have some serious fun!
