I hope not. Every event I have done this year there has been rain.

I just checked the weather from two different websites. Both call for high in the mid to upper 80's and partly cloudy on both days. It's probably going to be humid too, so hot as sh*t!

What an awesome weekend! Weather was a bit on the hot side, but I'll take that over the "forecasted" thunderstorms anyday! Compared to last year, I think I gained about 10 seconds! Based on my videos, I'm running about 1:51 per lap. I was able to get signed off to HPDE 2 so it was my first time driving by myself. The car does change a little bit without the weight from the passenger but I feel a lot more confident after this weekend.

I can definitely brake later in a few turns, carry more speed in some turns, and clean my lines up a bit in the tight turns. The car also did feel a bit down on power in the straights cuz even though I got the point by from cars, it took me a while to catch up to them even with the pedal mashed to the floor, I guess the heat played a big role. But other than that, I'm really happy with the weekend.

Special thanks to Dominic (Fixxercask) for saving me and my friend a spot, letting us use your shade, and letting me test fit some RPF1's with Hoosiers so I could pose haha. Oh and giving me a ride, crazy driver....in a good way

That track looks like a lot of fun, good video! Those RPF1's with the Hoosier's look pretty sick too

Congrats on HPDE2, are you shooting for time trials?

Glad you could make it Rob. I had an awesome time too except for it being really hot, but like you said I would take that any day over rain. Your lines do look really good. I think I can help you pick up more time too. I really like the way you take the keyhole, but you're not tracking out very much and it looks like you're driving out to where you end up and not letting the car track out. You can get on the throttle a lot sooner. That is a pertinent too because it leads onto the back straight. If you can carry a couple more mph on track out of there it will drastically lower your lap time. If you remember when you rode with me, I was going out all the way to edge of those yellows and getting onto the rumble strips. Then again, I know you said you were taking it easy since you drive your car to the track so I don't blame you there. Just trying to help. Glad your friend came and can now feed into the addiction.

Unfortunately my GoPro is having issues and my videos look like hell. The inside of the car looks good, but everything outside is super bright and you can barely see the track on some parts. There is a setting on the camera to cancel this effect out and I have it set to that and it seems like it is not working. I am pissed because I tried a lot of different things in certain sections and I wanted to compare.

I ended up getting 3rd out of 9 cars in TTB both days. Barely missed 2nd both days. The guys in 1st and 2nd both days were within .6 seconds. My best lap time of the weekend was 1:39.6. I need to pick up about 1 to 1.5 seconds to have a chance of winning nationals. I think I can get there. I need to improve myself more and corner balance my car.

Hope to see you tracking again soon. You got anymore track days planned for this year?
