Had my first track event of the 2012 season this past weekend at Putnam Park Road Course with NASA. For those that haven't been to the track, it's a very transitional track with one corner pretty much after another and only one long straight. My first time at this track since it's a good 5 hr drive from home, but I absolutely loved it!
Highlight of the weekend was geting signed off from HPDE 2 to 3 (advanced group)
Couple of changes to the car from last year that I want to comment on:
Brembos: Upgraded the stock brakes to track model Brembos with Carbotech XP10/8. Didn't have any brake fade all weekend (although this track isn't very brake heavy). Gained more confidence and was able to brake later than before. The track Brembos are more than enough for my needs.
Hankook RS-3's: Previously had RE-11's which I was very happy with. But I do have to say that the RS-3's have slightly better ultimate grip. The RE-11's would eventually get greasy after a long hot session but the RS-3's pretty much were consistently sticky the entire weekend.
I'll be going to Mid-Ohio at the end of June which is a much faster and longer track so I'll have more reviews after that.
Finally, here's the only video from the weekend I was able to upload (computer issues) which shows me chasing down some miata's and Dominic (Fixxxercask) riding along. Enjoy!

Yeah since we can't race year round like you west coast guys, many of the organizations have to pack all the track events into the summer.
So we basically have one like every month

Z1 Motorsports 19 row cooler

chose them over the stillen kit cuz of the -10 AN lines. I don't have a oil temp gauge yet so I'm hoping it helps lol
