with the false firewall removed, are the brake lines floating?
they would be but I am doing a new pedal set and running all new brake lines, but you could always remount them wherever you would need not that big of a deal
Very nice build! Weight is where it is at. I got my z down to 2, 649lbs with an LS1/TH400 swap, cage and full fluids (w/o driver). With a VQ and no restraint to cut into your car 2, 600 shouldn't be impossible.
Looking great! Inspiring stuff here! When's it going in for the cage? I can't wait to see this thing done. What are you planning for the front end? Core support delete and 1inch tube frame for the radiator and bumper attachment? I'm thinking about doing mine that way and hacking the first foot or so off of the frame rails. End up doing something like this EVO...

Maybe not till end of summer or fall, planing on having the car done by next season. Right now working 50-70 hours a week, so not a lot of time to work on the car. Front end will stay the same for now, working on moving the motor back right now, hopefully around 4-4.5 in back and 1/2 lower.
This was a great buy! I saw this guy selling it here for what like $700? Instead I spent just under $500 shipped for my speed glass rear, the when my OEM glass was out I was kicking myself I did not get a carbon hatch because of how heavy it still was! Great buy!! I will now spend about twice as much for not jumping on that.
