Watkins Glen HPDE June 11th & 12th, 2012
Hello All,
New to the forums ( been lurking a while--reading all the great stuff in this area) --but wondered if any Track folks were in the Northeast looking for a Z friendly event.
One of my clubs, Patroon BMWCCA is holding an event at Watkins Glen. HPDE event, but we do have an "advanced solo" group that is very similar to an open track type group. ( Run with instructors, their passing rules, need to be qualifed and pass a checkout ride)
If interested below is the event announcement. If you care --Driving (instructor) a Black 08 Nismo, SPL upper arms in the front, just put some 9.5 inch RPF1's and NT01's on it.
Join Patroon and NY Chapter BMWCCA for our annual trek to Watkins Glen for 2 days of HPDE ( BMWCCA Driving school) along with our Open track/ Advanced Solo group for very experienced advanced / instructor candidate drivers running with instructors for maximum track time.
In Car and Classroom instruction provided. NON BMW’s welcome. 2 day rate $395, open track/Advanced Solo $450.
