I'll be there. DE not specZ. Can't wait to look over the spec Z cars and watch the races. I've got a camera with a big honkin' lens and would be glad to get some pics of the SpecZ guys racing. Some paint swapping in turn 14 would make for some good pics!

 

Good pictures, but not a great day. Paint swapping isn't all it's cracked up to be.

 

Yeh, I was kidding about that. CMP is a hard place to get good pictures. If you can catch a group coming out of 14 you can get a decent shot. So-so shots in turns 1 and 2. Clive has let my daughter go up in the flag tower when it is not in use and you can get fair shots out across the track around 11 and 12 with my 300mm but no magazine covers. You'd need 400-500mm and a tripod for good shots out that far.

There are some shots from the last THSCC event at Kershaw on my Facebook page if you scroll down and then there is a gallery way down with a few track shots. My daughter took a lot of these. She is getting pretty good at it but not perfect.

Long drive from Nashville and that is opening day for deer season in KY...not going to make this one. Planning on being at Road Atlanta Dec1-2 though.
