Default Can someone check out my alignment specs?

Here is an attached picture of my alignment specs I just had done on my car, he played with it a little more and got the right front toe to match at -1/32, I just didnt get a chance to take a picture of it. But anyway, my current tires (kumho ecsta spt ku31 i believe) are bald on the insides pretty much front and rear after a little over 10k miles. My car is an 07 and only has 44k miles, I bought it with 7.5k, so I am pretty sure the alignment/suspension had never been touched before so I'm assuming the specs were factory and the tires surely should not be gone this soon given they arent that soft. I bought kinetix front and rear camber arms and spc rear toe bolts and installed them and took it to my man for an alignment. He suggested as close to 0 camber as possible with the toe still in spec, with just a little negative to set the tires for the corners. He was saying the -1.5-3.5 some of these cars have is ridiculous and that is why the tires are being chewed up so fast. I asked him about performance with the little negative camber he gave me vs that -1.5-whatever and he says the only time you'd want that much negative is taking hard hard corners at over 100+ mph and I would be much happier the way the car is now and tires will last much longer. He said lower speed corners and of course straight line traction will be improved the way it is now. I daily drive the car most of the time and occasionally autocross and hit the drag strip. I don't want to compromise handling for tire wear and vice versa. I want a happy medium. Are these specs anything close to what I would want or should I take it back to him and have it redone? From what I am reading on this site, most people say about -2.5 camber and toe as close to 0 as possible? Any help would be much appreciated as I am doing research while my car is down (ordered new wheels and tires and the lip was scratched on one wheel so I had to send it back). My new sizes if it helps are 19x9.5 +20 front with 275/30s and 19x11 +18 rear with 305/30s and I have the rear fenders rolled. Thanks

Set up is fine for a street driven car, but with any hard driving you will be chewing up outside edge of the tires. What he said about camber is not 100% correct. What eats tires is toe. I am running -3.0* up front and the tires are worn nice and even albeit the car sees very little street driving as it is nearly a dedicated track car.

On my previous vehicles (BMWs) which were DD with setup for occasional track day I ran a constant -2.5* camber with 0 toe and saw no uneven wear either.

Judging by the technology of the pik turn around and leave. Looks like a NASA video from 1994

Since your streeting the car I think what you have is fine. You'll probably lose a couple tenths in autox due to the camber. If you have a shop close by that offers 1 or 3 year alignment plans, you could have them set it up before the weekend, then get it back to street alignment on Monday. I am at my shop getting alignments regularly with new specs, and it only cost me $120 up front.

Should I be worried about the toe being off 0, or is that little bit not going to hurt even in the long run? I'm thinking about taking it back when I get the new shoes on and get a little more neg camber and toe exactly 0 all around. I love going to the tail of the dragon and probably going to try to run a whole series of autocross this year, all while still daily driving on the highway and you never know when you might get the urge to take a corner a little faster than usual.. so I want best performance and grip. I like the alignment plans you suggested, I will look around for shops that do that. Great info here guys

I would recommend 1/16th toe-in in the rear and 0 toe in front just to give you a little cushion if you are going to be attacking the canyons. 2 degrees negative camber up front and around 1 degree negative in the rear. I was running 1/16 toe out in the front and 0 toe rear -2 camber front and -1 camber rear on 275 fronts and 295 rears when I was streeting my car and it was a little to aggressive to attack the canyons where you don't know exactly what's around the next bend.

Just my .02, I hope everything works out.
