Will handle the same, just less grip. Buy wheels that you do not have to upgrade again

In your case it doesn't matter what size tire you have on the car. Your skill level is such that you are not going to drive any size tire consistently at the limit to get the best out of it. Sorry to say that but you're worried about something that's not important for your lap times right now.

Run the 245s on the OEM wheels for at least a year and once you develop a base level of competence then start thinking about going faster.
