Dust and fluff clogging the unseen area between the condenser and the rad.

Red neck Rad burping process:

Raise front end of car as high as possible (safely), remove radiator cap, start engine, let run, drink beer and watch TV for about 1 hour, turn off car, reinstall radiator cap, let sit for 1 hour, drink more beer and watch TV, remove cap and fill rad with water, reinstall cap, lower car...done...ready to race except for the driver/crew being drunk

Also, make sure all the little plastic filler panels in the Rad area and the lower valence are in place as well...I also use Heat tape to seal up all the holes around the Rad and the sides and at the top.

My (former) DE Spec Z could run a 40 Min sprint race in Atlanta with no problems...however the driver overheated.

as far as KOYO, Patrick has one (except he has the giant 55mm one) and says he has 0 problems.
Mine is DE, Cant compare. It runs way cooler.

The NISMO I just bought came from Texas. He has tracked it in the Texas heat numerous times, and has not had any issues with the coolant temp.
He's not pushing the car hard enough.

Do whatever you have planned, if it still fails, get a better bumper.

Interested to see where my water/oil sits with the coolers!
My NISMO had run in the TX heat without any cooling help, so I'm hopeful!

I read somewhere in the forum that the CFM on the stock fans is about 500cfm each.

Anyone know if its true?

My Z use to not overheat my first two summers of tracking, this summer I ran into problems. You maybe too fast for stock cooling

Well see though, I'd be really jealous if your HR Z held up in summer with out issues.

Bumping this. Cooling has stayed good with the cooling upgrades - havent overheated again. I do have AEM oil/water temp gauges to keep me in check too.

have done freezing days and over 100 degree days since too. During the 100+ days I wasnt doing hot laps for 25 minutes straight.
