I just got home; it was COLD today, and they cancelled the last run of the day due to blowing sleet and snow, but that was really for the best.

Except for that, we had a great turnout and a great weekend; tjhere were a lot of 350Zs (7 or 8?), and as usual they really looked good out there. My instructor was raving about what a great car it is on track, though the M3 driver he was raving to really didn't want to hear it!

HokieZ, there are events you can sign up for all the time at VIR, check the schedule at virclub.com. Triangle Z Club & THSCC have VIR South in April. Check the links I gave above.

Like I said I just got home; here's a quick shot of us lining up. I'm sure there will be other posts later.

It was good to meet everybody this weekend. Had a blast chasing down other Z's, and I look forward to meeting up again in the near future. Now I gotta spend some time tomorrow buffing out the marks from Eric's flying numbers.

Good to meet you too, John. You do chase us down, I must admit I waved you by. It MUST be the suspension, it certainly COULDN'T be the driver
You might get more protection from those flying numbers if you used Zaino!

(For those that weren't there, it was so cold that tape and magnetic numbers were getting stiff and flying off cars in the wind. Those that have seen them will understand that Eric's numbers have more wind resistance than most others.

Hope to see you again.

Just a Helmet and sign in. Next one at VIR is April.

Brian, Be sure to send me the Photo's so I can post them up on the site.

I hope everyone had a blast. I really tried to get up there Sunday, but it just wasn't to be. How was the Banquet on Saturday?

This has all been like a Party that you plan and your not invited. I hated missing this (BIG TIME). It's the first one I have missed in 3 years.

AURRG!!

Glad it turned out good.

Sorry you couldn't make it Marty. With the weather the way it was (not as bad as it could have been!) we didn't have many visitors.

Here are all my pics (thanks for hosting, Eric):

If I can get everyone who took pictures to send them to me to post on the website, it would be most appreciated.

Thanks Eric and Brian.

No one answered the question about the Banquet. How was it?

The banquet was nice, PACKED FULL, and strange choice of foods IMHO. I dont think they could have added anymore carbs to the meal if they tried.

Spaghetti, bread, potatoes, ham and salad. But it was nice, and FREE, so i cant complain. May need a bigger room next time, was pretty much standing room only!

Thanks to everyone who put it on. It was a blast as usual!

I only planned for 80 people originally, so when 110 were signed up by last Monday I was caught off guard and it was a little too late to change locations. Sorry for all the carbs, We had a few Veggies attending, so I opted for vegetable spaghetti. Glad it turned out OK. Next time we will have room for 150.

Mark told me this morning 150 people showed. That's pretty much everyone that was at the event. Even Lee, the pit-out guy, was there.

I didn't show because I didn't realize it wasn't at the Ramada. I drove over there, only to find nobody. I come to find the next day that it was held at the Comfort Inn?
