Roll call for VIR February 14-15th
Not sure if anybody knew, but VIR finally redesigned their website and went live today. www.virclub.com
John, thanks for the link........and the links included!
I'm thinking of a road trip out east........to ..........VIR this Summer
Saw that Car Guys event 8/13+14+15 is like $675
Is it worth it?
Also found NASA's event 7/30+31+8/1. I see their 2 day events last year cost $299, do you know what a 3 day event at VIR costs?
See you at Mid-Ohio!

Sent you a PM. I should be able to get a discount on CarGuys events, but don't quote me on that (I'll have a better idea when I work their event in two weeks).
Remember that CarGuys offers MUCH more track time (4 hours on Saturday and Sunday alone, not sure about Friday), and the field is thinner than NASA.

Sure do:

VIR falls under their Potomac chapter. Last VIR Audi event, I enjoyed watching John reel in just about everyone in his run group in his Z. Fun time.

Triangle Z Club sounds like a pretty good deal, but $100 really isn't that big a difference, given the size of the investment we have in our cars. I like the diversity of folks and cars that come to Audi events, as Audi's make up a little more than half of the attendees. It's also very well run, and not stuffy at all. I also find it fun sharing the track with Porsche's, Bimmers, Vettes, WRX's, STi's, Evo's, Ferrari's, and few Audi's. I'm just suggesting it as a fun alternative.

Triangle Z sounds like fun. I think if VIR were closer to my house, I'd probably do both Triangle Z and Audi (snicker), as that is my current favorite track. My friends tell me my favorite may change if I try Mid-Ohio. Big benefit with Audi for me is that I attend free if I instruct.
