Nice! Did you update your build thread, so you went from 4-pt to full cage and dropped 60lbs?
How much weight did the front part of the cage add?
My car is at the shop getting a cage, sucks getting a bunch of weight put back in but safety first.
I'm hoping I can offset most of the cage weight by running less gas and some more gutting.
Now I need to get a steering wheel and adapter, any suggestions?

They removed the 4 point entirely and made a custom 6 point.
removed heater core, doors gutted, rear strut tower replaced, etc. oem glass bolts in now, because for my time attack class I need oem glass.

Also the engine itself has about 3-4lbs of misc brackets on it! I'm sure you are well aware all the other bits and pieces you can do but being in a specific class I doubt how far you can legally go. Secondly I would put the battery cover and brake fluid covers back on and electronic gel around all the connection in those areas as water can and has go into those area !?!?!?!?!
One last thing, what shoes do you wear ?
It's crazy that even with the spare out of the Z car, what little horsies we have come alive...lol

I haven't had experience with track PPE. So you can basically keep your heal to the floor? As I always try to improve my comfort even though I continually take away from it, thinking I might add more padding below the carpet cause it's all melting lol

I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on a steering wheel:
Sparco 383 Lap Steering Wheel SP-15N25, Diameter - 330mm. Dish - 39mm.
Seems 330mm is the preferred diameter for Z when using racing seat?
Have to figure out what to do for quick release now, what do you all think of the NRG short hub + quick release?

No heat wrap on mine, no problems if the ambient is below about 70. The 120 degree days in Vegas and Willow, holy puck it sucks.
I now have a heat shield that my door rests on, giving me a gap to the floorboards and with insulation. When I fully cage it, my false floor will be higher in the pedal box.

Nice build, keep uf the good work! One day i'll only track my car... Now it's daily driven and i can't take away too much confort. But i think the car's a gret track car base. And if we take away some wheight it's able to go fast even in N/A form! Thumbs up from Switzerland!
