Okay, that makes sense. The guy at Custom Cages mentioned removing some sheet metal to get to the floor behind the seats and I bet that is what he was talking about.

I have a question based on your Kirk cage. I currently have the Enjuku K-style in my nismo but I ultimately would love the kirk cage in my car.... my worry is that based on my height of 6'5 I won't be able to fit in the car as comfortably as I do now.

How far back does your driver seat go back before it hits the cage? or does it even touch it at all?

my OEM and race seat fit under the bar, you can pull the chairs back as far as you could without. Now if its far back youll be under the bar (your head) so thats a nono. Im 6' and fit with A LOT of spare room.

Thanks for the pics John. I'm 6'4" and long waisted so the Kirk would not work for me on the track or street.
