Hr ac delete options
For those that have deleted compressor please chime in. Options I see is run shorter belt or fabricate bracket to run OEM routing (have not seen any kits out there).
Thoughts? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I' a DE - so I don't know how applicable this is? I blitzed mine a few years back in the name of weight savings. I believe I have a pretty good heat/cold weather tolerance but damn - sometimes it gets hot! so if you think you'll miss your AC than you will.
What is your intention for the AC delete?

Track car.
HR is different and needs a shorter belt. Just wondering what size would be best to have the tensioner still work properly... and if there is additional work required.
I got a reply in the vq35hr section though from dkmura, just waiting for more details about drilling and tapping the tensioner.

Here's the same info I sent previously: issue #12 of Nissan Sport Magazine detailed the HR swap. By drilling and tapping the central belt tensioner, I found that a Gates Micro-V belt (part #K050505) would work for deleting the a/c. You will need to check the belt tension manually before drilling the tension arm. This is NOT a factory authorized procedure and let the modifier beware.
