Lexan for carbon hatch
Picking up a carbon hatch without glass next week. Just want to know what people are being for a back window. Are you buying a sheet and trim to fit, do you form it for the slight curve in the glass? Then the most important part, strap, are you running a single or double strap and what material is typically used, aluminum or steel.

I have oem glass on mine... It's like 15lbs as opposed to whatever lexan is but I could tint normal glass. My hatch without glass was 22lbs.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I was going to buy a sheet of lexan and trim to fit but after reading up on it I decided real glass was the way to go for me...
I also dont use struts for fear of breakage.. And my fitment sucked. After much adjustments its ok...
O and it leaked till I went crazy on the inside with some silicone.

Might take a peak at this one as well. I was concidering getting some polycarbonate sheet and just cutting my own, then getting a rear window applicae molding to install with it for a stock look. The side windows will be a little more difficult. Either way good luck.

You should let me know how this turn out.
I was contemplating going this route, carbon hatch with lexan and the whole 9 yards. But then i re consider since thats almost 100lbs out of the rear and it woul throw off the weight ratio that is already messed up on my car lol.
