Default Koni DA rebuild - shop recommendations

Hey guys,

I have a set of Koni DAs with the nismo T2 springs. I've been tracking them for a few years now and it's finally time to rebuild them as the front left strut is leaking and causing vibration when taking a right turn.......

Anyone has any experience with either Koni North America out in KY or Performance Shock Inc in Sonoma CA? Since I live in TX, either way I'll be shipping it out. mainly looking for quality work and the turnaround time. Koni NA quoted me $170 to rebuild + parts and shipping, so my budget is around $1000 give and take.

thanks in advanced!

My Koni DAs were rebuilt by Koni NA and I recommend them. Took about two months to turn them around, however. Call them FIRST and get an estimate on how much work they have and when you can expect them back.

Also recommend ProParts over the other options listed in the OP.

Thanks guys, looks like I can't go wrong with either options.

BryanH/03threefiftyz: do you guys know what's the turnaround time for ProParts?

I'm sure it varies depending on how busy they are. Give them a call and you should be able to get an idea. We told them there was no rush at all on our shocks (we have stockers to drive around on) and we got them back in about a month.
