Just saw this, seems very interesting. Figured I would post this here cause most of the kids are just interested in the 2 step flame throwing parking lot dub step crap. I would think this would make things easier to achieve consistent and faster lap times.

That's $400 that could be saved. What some may not realize is heel/toe downshifting is part of the rhythm of turning fast, consistent laps. Learning this essential skill is worth the effort!

Nissan SynchroRev in a box. Hmmmph.
I should note that Len's right that it might help lap times and separately, that Nissan's own SynchroRev actually does work very well.
But... it also goes right to the point of my other rant about the dumbing down of the driving public. No one seems to want to do anything for themselves any more.
Get off my lawn.

I can rev match just fine, but I do botch the match 1 out of 100 times. But I do think it would be one thing that would be nice to remove to add to consistency.

Auto blippers are interesting to me since I had a bad compound fracture or my right leg when I was younger. The peddles have to be dangerously close together for me to be able to do it. It's border line on safety, so I haven't figured out how to make it work on the Z.
I had the chance to try it out on the track this weekend on my Z. Its works very well. On the street or pit its not perfect, but that's not the point. On the track it will blip and you can set the timing to work for you. Overall my impressions are it works very well. I was able to upshift and then downshift very rapidly when I would normally just hit the rev limiter for a moment. You can also heel toe if you prefer for corners and it didnt seem to override my action.

But i see your point, my best mate has a prosthetic leg so he cant heel toe, might look into this.
thanks!
