Gotta admit, I'm surprised it was that low. My DE, even not on ethanol, banged out 300 on that dyno. Get it tuned!
Those were the superflow readings. He showed me the dynojet readins as well which were close to 10% higher. I remember it showing 269hp max on the 3rd run.
Sounds about right then (dynamics is the dyno type )...
LOL, yeah I am only familiar with the single barrel type dyno's (and even then it was with my crouch rocket) so Frank educated me a little bit about the differences.
The dip at the end of the curb at 10 is a car eater...gotta tuck it in before that.
I watched this video a few more times. I think I was screwed as soon as I hit the rumbles. If you look (and i remember) i tried to turn in more after hitting the rumble strips, but the car actually drifts left. then the pot hole, then lots of shenanigans.
Also took this opportunity to put the Nismo suspension on. Sure is a rigid drive now. Hopefully performs well at Summit on Friday.
Total:
lower translink arm- $50 (Napa, next day)
Radius Rod - $50 (didn't use it as the old one looked fine)
Sway bar bracket - $20 (Nissan Dealer)
Wheel Alignment - $130 (Tire World, I don't recommend them but I was in a jam)
U haul trailer rental - $60 (couldn't get a hold of my buddy's trailer)
Ill get some better video up later. But this was one of my Soldiers in the Shelby I brought with me to the event. Helmets off To Hero's was a great event
Hey Gents, sorry I haven't been around this year. Bought a House in February and it robbed me of all my money. I'm squeezing in a track weekend with Track Daze next weekend though, Summit Main. Then I have Helmets off To Hero's again in November.
Finally got to use the garage i paid for!! New break fluid and inspection for this weekend. Starting out the weekend using the same rotors and pads I had from last year. Did some local driving around during the summer. Maybe a 1k miles. Should be ok. I have about half the pads left. Though the inside pads have worn out more then the outer pads (in the front). Not sure if that's normal or not. But I ordered another set or oem blanks and the same set of pads for the weekend just in case.
Carbotech XP 10/8 - $350 (Z1 motorsports)
Motul - 600 $55 (amazon)
OEM Blanks - $140 (advanced auto, commercial account)
Trackdaze weekend - $400
Weekend at the track - PRICELESS (unless you break something, then it has a price)
Super awesome weekend. I wasn't as fast (per say) as i left last year. But I have some decent data that shows consistency. Coudn't be happier with the car as it stands. Though I think i could really benefit from the next level tire. It was a very eventful weekend. Z28 crashed into the tire wall at turn 2; killing an entire session of track time. An E36 crashed into the inseide wall of turn three (i got that on video, i was 1 car behind him) and a 1st time track day guy in an 03 350z crashed his car literally the last lap of the weekend. All after i helped him and warned him about his brake status. Ive got video incoming.
