Default Z1 brake brace

For those who autocross, would a Z1 brake brace kick me out of D Street class?

As a SCCA tech guy, I checked the rules:13.6 BRAKES A. The make and material of brake linings may be changed.

B. Substitution of clutch and brake hydraulic lines with solid metal or braided metal is allowed on all cars manufactured before model year 1992.

C. Alternate brake bleeder fittings (e.g., Speedbleeders®) are permitted. They may serve no other purpose.

That's it. No other mods (like a Z1 brake master brace) are allowed. So using it will probably kick you out into the prepared class.

I figured as much. Of course, a part to make the brakes work more efficiently and consequently SAFER isn't allowed.

Welcome to SCCA rules! The king of "if it's not explicitly written, it's not allowed."

And, you're in a Street class... You want to modify beyond a few basic things, come join us in STU...

Meh. I've not had a MCB on any of my Zs, and haven't experienced anything to see one as a necessity.
