Default Opinion on Kinetix front upper control arms

I'm looking for a cheap way to get some camber adjustment up from. Added performance would be nice but main reason is tire wear. My rears wear just fine. Front left gets destroyed on the outer edge.

Compared to a lot of other upper control arms these are way less expensive. Car is not lowered and I don't care about looks.

Car is a mostly stock 07 Enthusiast, dedicated track car, Instructor/DE4 run groups, I do about 6 weekends a year.

If these arms don't have any glaring deficiencies or known problems they would be quite a deal. Experience and opinions welcomed.

Edit: I just noticed in the specs that the maximum negative camber these arms can give is 0.5. I initially thought its said 1.5.

Is -0.5 over stock enough to help with tire wear or performance?

The ConceptZPerformance web site says from +1.5 to -1.5. The Kinetix Racing website says, in red letters +1.5 to -0.5. Confusing. And probably enough to put me off buying them.

alot of my buddies that autocrossed ran them, they like how adjustable they were on the fly. most would drive there, take the wheel off, screw it in so many turns to get where they wanted it (how they determined how many, no idea), run the day, and then unscrew it to go back home

Need more caster too? Now is the time to consider that.

Correct. MB Battles. I am running 18 x 9.5 all around. Approximately 22lbs each which isn't bad.

I get plenty of caster angle with this drop, around 9 deg. I've had these camber arms for around 6 years now and greased them every two years. No noise at all. Although it's not a daily, but I do drive it to and from the track.

Unless I'm missing something, are you sure you don't have a bent component? I wouldn't think there would be any reason for your tire to be getting destroyed with suspension that was on the car from the factory.

Buying a camber kit may just be masking a problem.

Check out this thread, posts #23, #26, #43, #51 for information on how much camber you can get out of the Kinteix front arms at stock ride height for reference. I have had mine installed since 2014 with the modifications done in post #43 to get the camber I wanted. They will work fine just be aware of the steps needed to get there before you decide which arms to go with.

Agreed. If the ride height isn't changed there's no reason to use aftermarket parts (unless damaged).

This is a track car. Stock camber is not sufficient to prevent outside edge tire wear, especially on the left front (the tracks I run are mostly right handers).

Gotcha.
If I were you I'd 1st pm terrasmak who tracked his Z33 and knows alignment settings. Also dkmura (Mod w/a Z33 track car) is still racing, perhaps they can help with this. GL!
