Looking for good info on the avaiable upper control arms out there. Stillen has thiers, 350evo, kinetix, and performance nissan.
Who like what about which? I am leaning towards evos'. This would be for autocross, not to correct a problem.
Thanks Mike

I have the Kinetix pieces and am very pleased with them. On mine, I had to grind down the outside of the chassis bushings to get proper attachment-bolt torque, without binding the arms' movement (the sleeves need to be about 1/8" longer, ideally). The new ones may demonstrate better mfg precision. Still, they are $100s cheaper...
You will not believe how much better the front works. I run 3 degrees (full) negative at events, and a 60-second adjustment lets me drop to street camber before I head home.

Our arms may be a little more expensive....but the quality and assurance that goes along with it ...goes a long, long way. These are the same exact arms we race with on our 2 Grand Am Cup cars. The adjustment is very simple and quick.
The spherical bearing inserts allow for smooth and percise operation. These are true race parts.
If you have any questions let me know.
They are in stock and ready for shipping.

No.
We change our camber frequently during race weekends and testing. This has never been an issue. We use quality hardware with our arms. The slider blocks that are used to adjust the camber have inserts in them that the bolts tighten into. I beleive we have the best adjustable arms on the market.

Our upper control arms are used on our 3 Grand Am Cup cars.
They are fully adjustable using shims that will not slip out of place and will always be installed to the specific spec desired.
At the track, make note that using one small shim will be what you will need for your specific angle, and for the street, 1 large shim and 1 medium shim will be what you want for your street angle. Your settings will always be the same as long as you use the same shim, Adjustment is easy.
Here is some more info on our UCA's...

A somewhat related question??????
If I change my camber from, say 1/2 degree negative street to 2 1/2 negative for track use, what is the toe-in change? How many turns/flats on the tie rods to return to optimum toe-in specs?
BTW, I do not have a kazillion $ alignment machine to check.

You will see a bigger effect if you change ride hieght. I beleive the change would add slight toe out if you add a signifigant amount of neg camber. Have to check on this.
One of the best tools anyone can get if you find yourself tracking a lot and wouldnt mind doing your own alignments is called smart strings...from smart racing products.
