So, whenever I pop my hatch, it pops up and sinks back down a bit. I cant open it unless I lift it right after it pops open. It also has the tendency to fall on my head if I dont hold it up haha. Will this fix both the problems?

Do you mean droopiness? BTW, my wife solved that problem for me by ceding her rubber-tipped umbrella, which I use as a prop for the hatch! Saved a lot of $$!

we have one shipment arriving ~ middle part of next week, and then another arriving the week after - depending on when your order was placed (we fill them in the order they are received). We always email tracking on the orders, so you'll be able to see when to expect them
