I got konked in the head pretty good this morning... its 15 degrees here, and I am tired of needing an extra hand to hold the hatch up while I load my golf clubs in or whatever... What a PITA.
Any updates on this ? I would like to get a set. The website says more sets expected in March, and March is almost over...

All remaining backorders have now been shipped (check your email tonight for tracking to those few people), and we have a limited # in stock, ready to go of the heavy duty hatch strut kits. We did not yet receive any of ones for carbon hatches but will receive those with our next order
To recap and save you from having to search through the whole thread. This is a full, complete, bolt on kit for the 2003-2008 350Z. These work with a stock hatch, all the way up to a stock hatch with big spoiler. These are 40% stronger than stock, and will prevent your hatch from trying to knock you out as the stock struts wear over time
Everything you need for installation is included. The kits feature a pair of struts with black casing and include all required mounting hardware.
Price is $163.50 including shipping in the 48 states.

I recently received my new stuts from Z1 and they work well, even with the added weight of an aftermarket wing. And they cost much less than OE, so that's a really good thing.

correct, they are not polished anymore
