Placed an order for the G35. Hopefully it'll fit with the GT Spec front bar!

Only if it is version 1, It will not fit with the version 2 bar.

I searched throughout the thread and there was only a maybe on the v2 bar so I was taking the chance. I guess I'll remove the bar. I'd rather have the convenience of the oil access door.

Can you access the oil filter without removing the whole shroud? I see where it has a cut out that can be removed but is it big enough to remove the oil filter once off?

Yes sir, There is lots of room with the door removed! No oil drains in the pan during removal either! No fuss, No mess!

Great product, Great service!
My wife just got me mine for Christmas, have to wait untill spring to install it....TOO COLD! I also want to dynamat the top so I dont have to listen to the rocks hitting the aluminum. Thanks again for a great product!

Thanks for the review! There is no need to dynamat it, You will not hear rocks hitting it, I don't think adding that much weight to it would be good either. Once installed that are pretty well dampened from the mounts.
I think Krylon makes some "rubberized trim paint" that would look kinda cool and would muffle any thing that may hit it.

ok I'm ready..do I need to get a quote for shipping to 78641? or is it 15.00 to anywhere in conus?

BTW do you know if the Amuse front bumper bolts right up on the bottom?

Just $15 for ship to Texas,

If the stock shield bolts up to it this will also. Sometimes the Aftermarket bumpers will need the holes drilled in the bottom to attach the shield. I recommend putting the shield on top of the lower lip on the AM bumpers to mount it VS bolting it to the bottom like stock if if will fit that way..

I can't hear rocks hitting the aluminum with mine. Whatever small sound may make it to the cabin from this would be drown out by wind/road noise.

How did I miss this? Nicely done - ordered. THANK YOU! Does the hardware kit include new "retainers" for the bolts to latch on to?

EDIT: Just read that the "j-nuts" are included in the hardware kit - thanks.

EDIT 2: So what about that little front "chin" that scrapes on everything - is that an aero part that attaches to this or do you get rid of it entirely?
