Mine's Carbon Fiber Front Lip from EVO-R
Possibly the lip is a bit defective.Maybe fixed by doing a few stress cuts underneath the center section.This may ease the tension on your "bulge" and allow the center to mount flush as it should be.
Mine is an 06 and the lip fits pretty much perfect. You must be doing something wrong, maybe take some pics so we can help you more?

please see post #296 from my son scott. please write a letter on your company letterhead authorizing fedex to pay me for having to repair the lip you sent me earlier that was damaged during shipment. all you have to do is write them and authorize them to pay me for the damages. they have accepted my damage claim and are willing to reimburse me once you authorize it. it won't cost you a penny since you insured the package when you mailed it.

this is a quality lip, but Jay's customer service skills need improvement. my dad (mwe60352) is patiently waiting for a simple email to fedex so he can file his claim and get reimbursed for the money it cost to repair the lip. not sure why Jay hasn't addressed this issue or replied to my dad's email(s)...
