If anybody was stuck between these and the ones strong arm makes, go with the z1's. I bought the strong arms and the fitment is poor, and as a result the hatch catches a little air which makes a ton of noise on the highway.
I have a Nismo V1 spoiler and the thing fell all the time. Even had Nissan goodwill warranty the hatch struts only to have them fail again within months. Installed the UHP's from Z1 this weekend and the hatch pops properly again when pressing the hatch button on the FOB and the hatch actually lifts itself now. I have to almost hang on the thing now to get it down LOL. It's already been said but after replacing one side the one alone held the hatch.
This should be a requirement for all Z's with spoilers. Big ups to Z1 :thumb up:
how do I get ahold of them to see if they have it in stock? I have emailed, pm'em since last week and nothing. How did you order yours? on their website or over the phone?

You first sent me a PM after we closed on Saturday night, and an email late last night. I apologize I didn't check my PM's here yesterday, I have replied to your email.
We have a couple UHPs in stock, and plenty of HPs. Price is for the pair, and orders must be placed through our website.

Got my UHP this week and just installed them on my z and my dads. I think they are a little overkill but they did lift my dads hatch with a nismo spoiler on it with ease.
Just installed my new set from Z1. Well only one side, thats all I really needed with OEM spoiler. Those ball joints on the trunk side are a B to get off without rounding off. LOL
