HP struts installed! Took a little while doing it w/out a support beam to hold up the hatch and mostly due to lining up the screw to the hatch. Had to pretty much hold hatch up with 1 arm or use my head to hold the hatch up while I unscrewed/screwed on the bolts. Would be much easier and less time consuming if another person helped push up on/hold the hatch.

Anyways, these HP struts are powerful. Installed 1 side, took off the other side, and the HP struts almost could hold up the entire hatch. 2 HP struts are definitely plenty to hold up a stock hatch w/ a spoiler. Much recommended for anyone w/ a strut that's about to go out ;o

Just installed the HP struts. Took about 20mins, 15 of which went to taking the old ones off (getting the top screws out is a PITA).

The difference in strength is enormous. The trunk pretty much lifts itself up after a small flick of the wrist.

Got My HP Strut 4 days after I ordered it and installation was pretty straight forward. Now I can use my 2 hands loading the grocery bags and not use my head holding it open anymore. Thank you for the great upgrade!

Based on the Feedback I have received, HPs are sufficient for most applications, but we still recommend UHP if you have a large spoiler. PM Sent!
