DIY: Side Skirt Removal
I replaced my skirts and found something to add to this DIY:
RED ARROW: Nissan has adheasive tape at this location to aid in keeping the corner flush! Its good to have a piece of really tacky double side tape if not some adhesive caulking blob at this corner if not the outside edge will lift out and not sit flush!
CYAN ARROW: Area that will lift outward with out any adheasive.

Im talking about the male connectors on the skirt itself when you pull it out from the door sill, my new aftermarket ones have pre drilled holes which line up with the female end that is attached in the door sill. Should I just try to find another connector that will fit the stock one? I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this and knows what size I need

Awesome write up. Instead of paying for someone to do this I just took the time to do it myself. Easy as hell. However the aftermarket sideskirts I got have no pre drilled holes anything so looks like its either 3M or elmers for me...
Replaced my fenders as well in the process of this. I can only instruct with people in the front leaning rest so didn't do a write up.
Next DIY: Replace Factory Ebrake

My update: side skirts without oem snaps
3M doesn't seem to be strong enough at all. Does anyone have a preference as to what type of adhesive caulking should be used? I do not want to drill into the oem snaps. Thx

^can't u just put more of the 3M tape??
just make sure that, the area should be cleaned and degreased before putting in the tape.
i have a fitment issue with my oem sides, and i'll be putting some 3M adhesive. i'll update this with pix once done.
