hey i have a question...i wanted to do this but i have the side apron air bags...and i was wondering if it was ok to pull the headliner off with those airbags in there? or should i not even try?

I really dont know. I have a base with no airbags so mine was pretty easy.

Here is everything now that I went and got some screws for the sunvisors (3/4" #10)

looks sweet....get some day shots ...id say it looks factory...but honestly what factory spec has a black headliner? ive never seen one haha

doesnt look properly done..look at that white smear between the light and visor...and look at the edge of the headliner near the door..looks faded out...

is it just the pic?...

nice effort by the way! looks good overall

Yes the white smear between the visor and light is just reflection form the flash of the camera same with the edge. The only rubmarks are right on in the middle of the drivers side from where it rubbed up against the drivers headrest whrn was putting it back in, and one more somewhere near the rear of the liner.

anyone know the answer to my question about the side airbags and how safe it is to take the headliner off?

Should be fine, I would def disconnect the battery first and take out the air bag fuse, just for safe keeping.. Just my

you wouldn't happen to have a close up of the map lights. I'm thinking of doing a seude healiner and dont know if i'm going to pant it or try to get it CF wrapped.

did pesci use gloss paint and 702 use flat black? imo, pesci's fabric looks better.


looks good guys! i saw that paint at advance yesterday and thought about painting my headliner/visors/maplight. Just didnt know how itd turn out.

does it make the car smell like paint?

did mine today.

used 2.5 cans of gloss black and .75 can of flat. My visors were different which made it easier and use less paint. 03's don have the slide out portion.

Needs lots of blue tape too!

2 cans of gloss on the head liner. used flat on the visors as a base then .5 can of gloss to finish of the plastic parts/visors.

like the results?
