Amber removal for 03 - 05 Front End Part 3
71. When the timer is up, remove the second headlight from the oven
72. Remove the cardboard from the oven and close the door leaving the oven at 250.
73. Repeat steps 41 through 57 (swap out the diffuser, re-assemble and re-heat)
74. When the timer is done, pull the second headlight out of the oven, remove the cardboard, close the door and turn the oven OFF.
75. Repeat steps 59 through 62 and 65 through 70.
NOTE: If you are concerned about the seals being water tight, you can use black roofing sealant along the edges of each headlight where the lens meets the housing. I recommend using a pair of thin rubber gloves and use your finger to push the sealant into the seam using a very thin bead. Be careful around the inside smooth flat edge as this is visible when the hood is open. Do not get any sealant on this surface. Be very careful when working with the sealant if you choose to use it. A little goes a long way and it can get messy.
76. Install the headlights using the 3 bolts for each one. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN or you will crack the plastic.
77. Reconnect the main wiring harness connectors.
78. Replace the black foam piece onto the front of the bumper.
79. Place the bumper cover back onto the front of the car.
80. Use the 6 black fasteners along the top edge of the bumper cover to hold it in place. As before, do not pull the peg piece of the fastener all the way out as this spreads the socket piece too far apart for it to fit back in the hole. Only pull the peg piece 1/3 of the way up and the fastener should fit back into the hole.
81. Re-attach the bumper cover to the fender and the headlight housing on each side.
82. Re-install the forward half of the wheel well splash guards using the three plastic fasteners and fender screw to hold them in place.
83. Put the bolts that fasten the engine splash guard to the bumper back in starting from the outside edges and working in towards the center. This will have the effect of also fastening the bottom section of the wheel well splash guards into place.
Be sure to correctly fasten the bottom of the wheel well splash guards. If not properly fastened, they can get pulled downward by the force of air at freeway speeds, start scraping on the ground and even get caught under the tire and ripped off.
84. Put the wheels back on and partially tighten the lug nuts.
85. Lower the car to the ground.
86. Fully tighten the lug nuts.
87. Enjoy the clean new look of your front end!

I admire your dedication in going to these lenghts in order to remove the orange reflectors in your headlamps, shame there are no photos to show what the finished job looks like.
