yes you are correct 2 resistors, i dont have any in yet, i need to get some, I have the airbag light flash at me as well as my seat belt light. I need resistors for that too. My DIN looks like a christmas tree since I have the F-CON installed. No ABS, or Traction Control either. I say F it. And dont worry about it to be quite honest.

i wonder if you will still be able to switch maps with uprev osiris by doing this? there are more metal prongs in the connector where your cruise controls plug into. rather than splice into the two main wires for just cruise control. switching maps might not work.

I am unable to see the pics from my military computer here in Afghanistan. I honestly cant tell you at this time.

As far as the maps thing, I dont believe I had that option in my car so I cant tell you.

My crusie control only managed my cruise and nothing else. I didn't have any other options on my 04 Z steering wheel.

never mind..i just relocated my controls. there is only 3 wires in the harness that plugs into the steering wheel. the other metal prongs in the connector do not have wires connected to them. switching maps should work still

Glad that my write-up has helped so many people out. Never thought I would be the initiator of any posts that are highly sought out.

Hope you enjoy the pleasures of cruise control again soon.

i finally found a pic with the wiring diagram and got my cruise relocated!! personally love that it is out of the way so i dont have to worry about my long legs accidentally bumping it. Plus, i feel like a jet pilot when i turn it on now!!

Did you ever get this to work? We are looking to make our uprev tune work in this manner as well.. We need to be able to switch for a NOS tune sometimes...

thats amazing. If I ever spring for an aftermarket steering wheel, that's exactly where mine will be going

There's literally no way to mess it up.. the exact same color wires as the cruise switch are on the plug on the back underside of the column combination switch..
Cut back some of the plastic sheath covering it..there's only two plugs..
Just dig in.. its very apparent and explanatory...not at all like digging for wires in the kick panel etc.

Ive messed up..
I try to relocate my cruise-control.
And i plugged it on to the black and red cables that i found under the steering wheel.

I assumed that was correct since the colors inside the steeringwheel was the same.

And there, The black and red goes to the cruise control.

But that didnt get the cruise control to work.
And now the cas is F***up!
EVery light in the panel is on all the time.. ESP, ABS, Handbrake etc etc. and the engine dies while im driving!

What does these two blanc and red cables go to!?
What have i probably shortfused?
