Thanks for bein honest. The peeled chrome looked dumb like an imperfection in the light, it was grey underneath.

i painted my housing black this weekend... as well as added some LED's inside the headlights. it didn't come out too bad.

Here are mine. Since I didnt do all black and left the signal part chrome, to me they look somewhat OEM.
I used a few layers of VHT Night shade (tail light tint spray).
