DIY: Euro Foglight Instructions
Here's a copy of the instructions to install a Euro rear foglight to any Z, these particular instructions are from a Datsun Freeway kit. Once the kit is installed or you fabricate your own kit using instructions provided, the Euro fog will come on when you turn on your lights via the switch(Pointing out the obvious... don't judge me.).
First you'll need to remove the plastic pieces from the trunk area... all the way up to the sub woofer area(Bose) or the driver's side rear pieces. You don't have to remove the speaker bar b/c the loom is along the driver side rear fender or the passenger side panels.
Second you'll need the info to how to remove the rear bumper, refer to the link below:

Third... Well the instruction's will guide you on the way.

At the end of your installation should look like this:

Notes:
1- One can choose to use a piggy back connector similar to this, the wires are 18 gauge in that particular harness area:

2- I actually cut the Blue/red wire in illustration #7(picture's dont have numbers but the refer to #7 in the instructions and you'll see what i'm talking about), soldered, and wrapped, rather than do what is depicted.
3- One can run the switch to the center console instead of the under panel area of the dash. Just know you need to have a clean metal area to attach the ground to.

I'm looking at getting another kit that includes the passenger side and the switch on the stalk instead of a button. So I was thinking the same thing, have the euro lights run at the same time via the switch and have a separate LEDS's run the reverse lights on both sides. I'm working with Datsun Freeway to see if they're available so I'll keep you guys posted, the only problem is you need to wait until I get back from Afghanistan in Sept

I'm still in the paying process so I'm not sure exactly... I believe its going to about 550-575ish shipped from Japan.
I believe its an OEM piece... the stalk looks OEM at least. I need to get you guys the switch part number but that'll be in Oct when I return.
Good luck

I've been trying to get a hold of Motorsports Nissan or WTF they're called and nothing... I just contacted Datsun Freeway on my own, Vendors here suck more and more every day. PM me and I'll give you the email address I used.
So I'm looking for a switch... I've found that most newer Nissan's have the switch on the stalk BUT aftermarket foglight kits have a button. So here's what I've found:

You can essenctially get a switch, a plug(Switch side), and enough cable to make it work. $44 is pretty cheap for what you'll need to fabricate your own kit. You'd need a lead that would work with the Nissan plug(Light side). I'm thinking of making harness kits when I get home for you guys being that I'll have an extra kit to copy.

Not a wire guy, but can this be done to the third brake light? I brought some pieces to turn my third brake light into a fog light. I'll cover up the strip so it's a box like most rear fohlights. Then controlling it so that it can flash/pulse. Don't think I thought of this first, but haven't seen it done...
