Hi guys.. I just bought a 2005 z and The driver side headlight turns on but not the passengers.I went to check and see what kind of HID the passenger side had and its a 8k H7. was just wondering what are the OEM HID kit for that year? And if I just need to change the buld.

Thanks npr350z I'll try that..so the 8k H7 is the oem Kit for it right? Im just concerned that the previous owner didn't do any modifications to it which lead to the passenger side having a different kit than the driver side. I haven't checked the driver side yet but I will once I have time to swap the bulbs

You can check real quick to see if you have the stock xenon ones on the 03-05, they look different than the base model lights. A quick google will show you. But the his ballast should all be bolted up to the headlight. If not it's a good sign that it's an aftermarket kit. But swap the bulbs and if it works, new bulb. If that doesn't work swap the ballast and if that fixes it then it's a ballast. If not a fuse or wiring issues

The H-7 HID bulb is obviously a rebased H-7 bulb. If you don't have a Base model, someone switched your headlights. You can get a new H-7 rebase from Diode Dynamics.
