Default side Z turn signal emblem

My friend has a Nissan 350Z and we would like to change the led light inside the letter Z emblem on the side of the car from the horrid amber bulb. Does anyone know how to remove the emblem?

If you're referring to the 'Z" emblem on the Z33 front fenders, they must be aftermarket. The OEM badges were solid and used double sided tape and two pins to locate. Use a soft tool, like a vinyl scraper and a lot of patience to pry up an end without breaking it.

Aftermarket, Z34 part, or the car itself is a Z34.

If this is what you have, I'll bet the internal LEDs are not replaceable, snyway:
