Clock spring with 1 airbag cable

Clock spring with 1 airbag cable
Hello fellow enthu-Z-asts,
I have a airbag light blinking and i think its due to the clock spring. Currently i only have 1 cable from the clock spring to the airbag and when i look online i can only find clock springs with 2 cables to the airbag, i only have the yellow cable but what is the reason with the orange one? And could i install a clock spring with 2 cables and leave the orange one disconnected?
