unfortunately I have no idea, they come in sealed bags from JPM, we don't open them at all, but I'll try to ask. My guess is that being hand made, they simply forgot to do it.

Yours was actually the very first one made. I got excited to be working on a new product and forgot to insert the tag before the double stitch was done.
If it's an issue, we'll be more than happy to swap it out for one with a tag. Of course, it won't be the first one anymore
