Glogan = da man!

I'm sure this will be my project sometime this summer because the rotors will need replacement anyway.

I'm sort of a newb with this, any instructions I could look at to complete it? (Just don't want to screw something up)

I emailed a guy I know who vends brake parts to see what kind of prices he can get on this list. As for brake lines, I have seen Russell lines on ebay for around $100 for all four wheels. I would think they would work.

That would be awesome. The only thing I found from the Wilwood catalog was the calipers. None of the others matched up unless I'm doing something wrong

Really looking forward to this, will be my summer project

I cant wait to see this setup on someone's car.... what was the final total for the custom brackets and all the other parts?

Once someone finishes ordering everything post a total for us.

Not sure if anyone cares or not, but Wilwood does now have an official Z/G BBK in their catalog.

350Z, G35 2004-05 13" Rotor Kit
Part No: 140-9190 for slotted, 140-9190-D for slotted/drilled
SS Brake Line Kit: 220-9196

350Z, G35 2004-05 14" Rotor Kit
Part No: 140-9192 for slotted, 140-9192-D for slotted/drilled
SS Brake Line Kit: 220-9196

Someone needs to do a cost analysis.

Last heard, this was not released yet. Based on the prices for other kits on comperable cars, this is not really a cost savings. It was discussed earlier in the thread - after 21 pages, we tend to lose track of what is going on.

If I am correct, this bracket was a copy of the precision brake company bracket - Just guessing, but this is prob. what Wilwood is selling. Kbiz who started this thread tried to inquire from Wilwood what the hats, rotors would cost individually. They were not ready to quote prices at that time (around Jan or so).

Mossy Performance has a 4 piston kit for 1275. Be interesting to see how much this will all run.

I saw that too. I'm hoping that once that parts list pricing has been completed we should still be able to put the BBK together for cheaper. However... If this is not the case we have been working on another idea in another thread which has become very interesting.

Just keeping all our options open.

The calipers are not a problem, but the rotors and hats seem to be. Still investigating.

Yeah, calipers are only $159, but can't seem to find most of the other parts.

More research is needed on hats and rotors. Working it, if anyone comes up with something, let me know please.

Maybe take the rotor and hat from the Performance Brake to a Wilwood dealer for matching it. I would think the rotor is a common size. The hat would be the problem. From what I have seen so far the bracket appears to be widely used and I can't imagine Wilwood not having the appropriate parts.

BTW, Only one bracket set has been purchased (Thank you Gringott). I'm not holding these forever and will likely scrap them soon (my office does not make a good warehouse ).

Well, I am very interested in this whole project, but I am waiting on word that people are able to find the appropriate parts before I commit to purchasing a set of the brackets. How long are going to hold on to them?
