They look real good "350z Now" I actually just did mine the other day also. I actually did the same steps you did, with the exception of the paint removar. I primered them with a white also but painted em purple. I actually like the way they came out. Ill post pics of mine probably tomorrow if i get a chance. Im just looking for the brembo decals...where did you get your by chance?? Thanks, and again...good job!!
well i do have to say u did take your time personally i think it came out good i probably wouldnt do the paint stripper but i think it came out nice.+ u removed everything to do it ive seen cars in my town that just remove the whel and tape it while its on and go at it i almost want to slap them with my hand full of baby powder. so my opinion is it came out good
1 st off good job and thanks for making this thread.
I have a few questions:
-Did you have to strip the paint off, why not just sand the orange paint down a bit just to give the red paint something to stick to.
-Is the primer necessary, and if so because it is not high heat primer how will it hold up.
-How will the red paint hold or how has it held up, since its not high heat paint.
-How long did you want to sand and polish the clear coat, what did you use to polish it?
thanks
kevin
