Nismo suspension and 19's
Just wondering is anyone is running the Nismo suspension with a wide 19" setup (19x8.5 front and 19x10.5 rear). If so, any fender rolling necessary? I'm looking at that setup and wondering about clearances. Any help or pic's would be appreciated.

Okay, here's what I'm thinking.
Volk SF Winning's 19x8.5 front and 19x10.5 rear. Front's will be 245/35/19's and I'd like to go 285/35/19 rear if it won't cause any issues. I don't want to have to roll the fenders, but I am thinking about going with the Nismo suspension setup which I'm told lowers the car about .8".
I'm still going back and forth between the 18/19 decision. I like how the 19's fill out the wells, but I'm still not sure I want to give up the ride quality of the 18's. Especially if I end up going with the Nismo springs and sway bars.
I know the wheel choice discussion has been beat to death, but I'm a new Z owner and would like to hear from anyone with that setup. The car will have little if any track time. This baby is going to have a little of both show and go!

You have to find out the off set from the vendor. The Winnings are available in extreme offsets, for ex. +17. This would be very aggressive and you would have to modify your fenders even with 275's. Don't let any vendor tell you they will fit without rolling, with that offset, because they won't. To accomodate 285's you will have to be in the +30 range.

I am not an expert but this is what I picked up from looking for wheels. It is somewhat complicated you can research it on the web. To put it simply offset sizes designate how far the wheel will be pushed out toward you fender (outboard) or (inboard) toward your suspension. Every wheel has an offset size that you must consider. Lower numbered offsets push the wheel toward your fender and vice-versa.

offset is the distance from the moutning hub to the center line of the wheel...the more positive (farther from 0), the farther in the wheel sits, the lower the number (closer to 0), the farther out it sits. Obviously, offset and wheel width go hand in hand and both determine what fits and what does not.
Find out the rear offset of the wheels you are getting or thinking of getting. For the SF Winning, recommended sizes are 1985 +25, 1995 +29. The Winning is offered in a 10.5 +29, which should work out ok, but search out members here with those wheels (there are plenty) and ask what they experienced on their own cars, so you hear it from the horses mouth rather than someone trying to sell you something.
