Tein Flex Kit info needed
Does the flex kit do away with the rear stock spring mount location on the arm and turn it into a coil over in the rear?
Is $1100 a good deal on the flex kit?
Should I get the EDFC?
Without the EDFC can the shocks be adjusted on the car?

#1: Yes, it will replace the rear shock
#2: $1100 sounds like a good new price; if used, not so good.
#3: yes, get the EDFC if at all possible; it makes a cool sound when it goes into action.
#4: the edfc controls dampening (how hard it feels in use), whereas the outside wrenches control the height adjustment ONLY (I think).

Thanks for your reply...
I know it repaces the rear shock, I was asking if it does away with the stock srping mounting location,
It's new for $1100
Can the shocks be adjusted when installed or do they have to be removed to be adjusted?

the edfc motors in the rear needed, in my car, some modification (cutting) on the rear strut towers to be able to put the individual motors in the rear coilovers.
I think my mechanic put the coilover in the original location, just replaced the shock,it seems to me. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I seem to recall it just replaced the original shock in the location.
The coilovers can be adjusted for height while on the car,but it is difficult bec. you are almost forced to raise the car, which is a chore in a low, heavy vehicle like the Z. Sorry I cant be more helpful, maybe some members with more experience can chime in.

1. no it does not
2. are they new?
3. yes you can still adjust the coilovers without the EDFC - the EDFC allows you to do if from inside the car
4. the height adjustments are on the car - takes no more than 30 minutes to do all 4 wheels - very very easy with just a floor jack

i could have had the flex's for 1400 new...but didn't want to deal with the noise issues. i went with the hks ls+ instead and couldn't be happier with them. if the kit is new its a hell of a deal, otherwise you might want to reconsider

Pillow mounts cannot adjust camber on these cars.
Given how much noise can come through with the oem shocks and mounts when one removes that chunk of soft rubber, I'd hate to think how much noise you'd get with something that use's 672lbs springs vs 314/342.
