I have the Hawk HPS pads and they squeak like a **** (have since day one). Dont' get em if you want a quiet pad. One the plus side, they stop well and don't let off as much brake dust as OEM pads. I plan on using Endless pads next time.

endless pads are definitely worth the money... very low dust, minimal squeal... although they're VERY noisey when applying the brakes after a rainstorm and the rotors are wet
btw, ReavTek... did you follow the proper bedding procedure for your hawks?

ssk... did you do anything special besides the bedding procedure on the box for your hawks? did you add anti-squeal/anti-noise grease?

I've had the Hawk HPS pads for 8k miles now & NEVER had a squeek or squeel. In addition to bedding them as the instruction said, I also used anti-squeel lube (I actually used the red anti-squeel spray from Auto Zone).

One thing that my mechanic did was he did not put the thin metal plate that goes between the the back of the pads and caliper. He said that there is one already attached on Hawk HPS pads.
He said that there was no need for it. If I wanted to put the metal piece he said that he would but that might cause squeek.
Like I said, I never had any squeek. maybe few times and I had the Hawk HPS installed since I had 3K mi on my car and my car has 27K mi now.
Time for new pads.

I love 'em!
I installed the Hawk HPS brake pads 5k miles ago. If they're installed and then bedded properly, you won't have to worry about any embarrassing brake squeal. During the install process I also added some anti-squeal material on the back side of the pads. It's called 'disc brake quiet' by Permatex. The BEST part about replacing the OEMs with these HAWK HPS pads is the that I NO longer have any of that ugly annoying brake dust.
That's correct - ZERO brake dust.

Thanks for all your inputs. It seems like Hawk HPS is clearly the winner which I am using currently. I just order some Project Mu B-Force. I am going to give that a try.
I'll post an update.
Once again, thanks for all your votes & inputs.

They should make em for the non-brembo. I dont know about the Brembo's. As for brake dust when I used them I didnt know what brake dust was. There was hardly any unless I really got on em a lot.
