Will Brembo rears work with 13" StopTech fronts?
I currently have a set of front 13" StopTechs on my Z, which I've been extremely happy with through a dozen track days. However, the ability the StopTechs give me to push the car that much harder all day long at the track means that my OEM non-Brembo rears overheat, fade, and die that much more quickly, so I'm evaluating my options for addressing this.
One of these options is to buy a used set of rear Brembos (which come up for sale for < $800 from time to time.) My question: will the rear Brembos work properly with the front StopTechs? The front StopTechs were tuned to maintain bias with the stock rears, but not necessarily with the Brembo rears. Does the Brembo setup use a different front-to-rear bias than the OEM brakes? Also, are there any other complications that could arise from this setup that I'm not thinking of?
Thanks for any help!

The Stoptech 13" kit is not model specific so I am sure it will work just fine no matter if you have the non Brembo or the Brembo rears. I hadn't heard that any of the brake setup other than the rotors and calipers was different between the non Brembo and Brembo. I say go for it.
I've been running 13" Stoptechs with rear track Brembos for about 9 track days, and they work GREAT! Rear pads last MUCH longer!
They work well enough to develop radial cracks on my drilled & slotted rotors, which are being replaced with 2 piece floating rotors.
I'm not sure if Stoptech uses the same rear piston size in their 12" rear kit as the Brembo has, but I haven't noticed any odd brake bias issues.
Nissan made a change in their master cylinder since my Z was built, but I can't remember what it was or which models have it.
You'll have to switch backing plates, or, just cut it off as I did.

Will the 13" ST's work with OEM 17's? I have Konig 19's on now and will need to change before my track event in March. I wanted to know the fitment of these brakes...any rub with 17's?
Thanx

I've been running the 13.07"(332 mm) Stoptech front BBK for about 2 years on my Enthusiast. Last year I installed a pair of track rear Brembo's. I now have a pair of Stoptech 2 piece slotted rear rotors (12.7"?)waiting to be installed.
