Default Larger Brake Master Cylinder/Piston?

I will soon have Stillen BBKs front and rear, with SS lines all around. Motul hi-temp brake fluid will course thru them. I believe a larger master cylinder/piston will provide more stopping power... True? Is there an OEM or aftermarket brake master cylinder with a larger piston that will easily replace our standard OEM unit? Please advise. THX

I would stay with what the caliper supplier recommends, playing with bore sizes can get tricky.

Assuming your new brakes have roughly the capacity of the old brakes a larger bore will have a shorter stroke with less mechanical advantage. So the pedal will not move as far and will be stiffer to push. If taken to the extreme, you may not be able to reach maximum breaking. If you went the other way, with a smaller bore, your stroke would be longer but easier to push. Take this to an extreme and the pedal could reach the floor before you have maximum braking.

It really is a delicate balance and quite expensive when you start buying parts to mess around with it.

Thanks for the replies. I'll stay with the stock unit.
