Default chromed brake calipers

I know a guy who is a self employed mechanic that suggested I chrome the stock brake calipers. I think its an awesome idea. He knows a guy that can kock it out in 2 days locally. I think it will be off the chain. Do you like, what do you think

I think it'd be too gawdy (tacky) looking, but just my opinion. If you think you'd like it go for it. But calipers aren't cheap to replace if you don't like the outcome.

chrome calipers...so it'll be like the GREX kit...just smaller. I like the GREX...so it should look pretty good. I definitely like the titanium idea though...that would be a show-stopping detail cuz its something new I think...haven't seen it before.

Ever seen what happens to chrome motorcycle pipes when they get hot over time?

They turn blue, sometimes rainbow colors too and your calipers will end up looking like Telle Tubbies.

Want to guess what happens to your nifty $$$ chrome calipers when they get hot?

You'll end up with Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Lala and Poe.

What is really sad is that I know their names:-( Puahaha

It's the opposite of on da chain.

bauckrob1, like I said earlier, if he can smooth out the calipers I think it would look good. I'd invest in some cross drilled and/or slotted rotors to top it off.
