Bleeding brakes as we speak , quick question please
Painting my calipers right now. I was just wondering if there are any abs bleeder vlaves anywheres or if it just the ones on the calipers themselves? Also is there any special way I have to bleed these brakes wiht the VDC crap or anything I should know? Thanks Using a spray and they are non brembos 18" 04 touring 6 spd with VDC. Taking brakes completely off need to know if there is a certain way to bleed them.
I am keeping same pads as they are new. I am disassembling the caliper from the rotor as well as the brake lines from the caliper. WHat do I need to know to bleed these things? Non brembos with VDC 18: 04 touring 6spd. ONly bleeders on the calipers? Using a spray so the brake poarts will obviously be well away from the vehicle!
Ahhh, got ya now. I left the caliper carefully proped on the rotor to avoid disconnecting stuff. Took a few minutes to figure out how to set it and avoid getting paint on other stuff, but it worked.

The general practice is to start with the caliper fartest away from the brake reservoir and move closer, so go passanger rear, driver rear, then passanger front, last driver front. It is a lot faster with two people. Can be done with one, but quite a pain in the rear...
