Tein Basics Installed!
I just got my tein basics installed on my Z coupe today. Dropped the front 0.8 inch and the rear an even 1 inch.
Initial impressions.
Car rides much like stock only more responsive. The difference in corners is definitely noticable. Very smooth ride but bumps feel firmer, not punishing however, in any way.
These in my opinion are the perfect setup for daily driver occasional track event.
In comparison to the stock parts that were taken out of the car, the Tein components seem to be much better quality. Definitely heavier and beefier than stock.
I have some comparison pics if someone can host them for me.

I haven't gotten an alignment yet, but I doubt I will needto replace the A arms for camber on the front. 0.8 is the same drop as nismo S-tune(can be adjusted back to spec). The rear may need camber and toe bars, but visually it does not look like it would be off too much at 1.0 inch of drop.

the rims look very nice! I just installed my TIEN basic today with .75 all around. It doesn't look any different from stock height. I bought it used, so do you think the idea of let it set in for a week or 2 still apply?

Thanks Z phat Z
Mine is 0.8 in the front. Does your drop look similar to the one on my car. Mine settled as soon as I went for a drive but I am still going to wait a couple of weeks to get an alignment.
maybe recheck the height adjustment as per the tein manual.

Why is everyone so afraid to lower there cars, lower cars look much better and aggressive. The lower your car is the better it will handle that is why drifters cars are so low. So many people are buying springs and keeping there cars looking stock, that is just a waste of money IMO.

i'm not sure if you can set it to stock height.
if you look in the tein basic manual, it tells you where to measure from to get the 1 inch drop, use that as a guide
