when install the new big brake, am i suppose to get the stop power right away? like a ligh push on the brake panel and the car stop hard? The reason i ask because i don't see much of the different after put in the 14" 6 pistons Rotora in yesterday.
The "grab" you're gonna feel in the braking difference mostly depends (IMO)on the pads you installed. I don't have Rotora's, but on my Stoptech 4-wheel setup, with Axxis Ultimates (more performance, but more dust) the braking "grab" is very noticeable....with the Axxis Deluxe Plus (street pad, low-dust) they feel about like stock in braking grab....with the Perf. Friction 01 race pads & Pagid Blacks (have to warm up to perform) the grab about throws me thru the windshield - ha!
The biggest difference you're gonna notice is on the track....BBK will give you less fade running hard (w/hi-temp fluid, performance pads) due to the better cooling characteristics of the rotors & calipers and the performance pads. On the street, they're for looks if you're running a low-dust street pad......just my opinion. They did come in handy at the Tail of the Dragon a few weekends ago at ZDayz...

Well, don't know what to say......when I installed the Ultimates on my Stoptech's, I could really tell the difference between them & the OEM and Hawk HPS' I ran on my OEM brakes. The dust drove me crazy, but they really did grab. Hopefully, someone with Rotora will reply here for you. I don't know if this makes any difference, but the Stoptech has 4 larger pistons in the front vs. 6 smaller pistons on the Rotora's. I really can't imagine that would be the cause any difference, though. I've read nothing but good things about Rotora so it must be finding that "right" pad that determines the rip-roaring "grip" you want, as is the case with most brake setups.
Again, hopefully some performance-minded Rotora customers will reply here for you. There should be a performance pad out there that Rotora customers use that REALLY make a difference.

the kit i bought, the pad is already installed inside the caliper. All i have to do is put the caliper to the rotor so i don't really think i mess up in the installation process. I should call Rotora on Monday.
I know if you put Endless pads on the stock braking system if feels 10x more firm.
Not sure if endless pads meant for their 14" kit would fit the rotora, but if it does, you might want to consider trying that.

Also make certain your brake system is 100% bled of air. Sometimes, it takes a couple of rounds of bleeding, even after you "think" you got all the bubbles out.
Also, I assume you bedding in these new pads and rotors. If not, your brakes will feel terrible. I usually do about 10 repeated full force stops from 60mph...until the brakes are smoking, and the rotors are a golden bronze color.

I changed to the Nismo pads and at first they were worse than stock but as they heat up they grab waaaay more. So maybe thats what your experiencing. If you stop once or twice it feels soft. Give it a few stops from a high roll or some repeated ones to heat them up. I had smoke coming from mine when i stopped for the 1st almost 100mi. After that smoke went away and braking increased, but this is on stock brakes of course.
